Linley Sambourne House

A Victorian twilight encounter at Linley Sambourne House

1899 an ordinary family with an extraordinary secret!

A picture of Mrs Reffell, the house keeper.

Dinner preparations are underway at the home of Linley Sambourne, artist and illustrator. Before dinner can be served an unexpected intrusion unravels a tale of scandal and deceit behind the 'respectable' doors of No. 18 Stafford Terrace.

Dramatic evening performances by costumed actors in the atmospheric interiors of this unique historic home. The performances, based on the material in the Sambourne family diaries, are a voyeuristic view of unspoken Victorian eccentricity. Ideal for alternative evenings out with friends.
