Interpretation

Lina Dene, one of Dorothy's younger sisters, posed for the child in the painting 'Cymon and Iphigenia'. A guide to Leighton House Museum of 1905 notes that a total of 56 drawings were known to exist for the painting 'Cymon and Iphigenia' in 1905. [Stone, J.
