Mayor hosts Neighbourhood Watch Night9 June 2003Monday evening (9 June) saw the Kensington and Chelsea Crime Prevention Panel hold its annual Neighbourhood Watch Evening in the Mayor's Parlour. The Mayor, Cllr Christopher Buckmaster, hosted the event, with special guest Lord Cadogan, Patron of the Panel, and Chief Superintendent Moir Stewart, the Borough's Commander, also present. Police Community Support Officers (PCSO's) were there in strength, mingling with the Leader of the Council, Councillor Merrick Cockell, Neighbourhood Watch Co-ordinators, Crime Prevention Officers and representatives of the local community. The Panel is a registered Charity that supports the local police and promotes crime prevention and personal safety issues.
