Council Scrutiny Committee to hold hospital hearing

A public hearing into the Royal Marsden Hospital's application to become a foundation trust is due to be held at Kensington Town Hall next Wednesday, 29 October at 6.30pm.

Cally Palmer, Chief Executive of the Royal Marsden Hospital, will attend the meeting of Kensington and Chelsea Council's Overview and Scrutiny Committee (OSC) for Social Services, Health and Housing. She, along with her senior colleagues, will be questioned on key aspects of the application for foundation status.

The meeting is open to members of the public.

The Royal Marsden Hospital has issued a consultation document (available at www.royalmarsden.org) and is seeking comments by the end of November.
