Summer in the City brochure up for award
This year, the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea worked
with its neighbours, the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham
and Westminster City Council to produce their first joint
publication, Summer in the City.
Designed by Kensington and Chelsea, the publication provided
combined summer activities listings for children and young people
across the three boroughs. The chief aim of the project was to
encourage cross-borough participation in healthy activities whilst
reducing costs to taxpayers by producing a single publication,
instead of three.
Already very well received by users, the publication has also
impressed at the How-Do Public Services Communications Awards,
where it is shortlisted for a prize under Best Partnership
Engagement Initiative.
