July 9 - Tosca

Charity Gala in aid of Venice in Peril

With extremely limited availability across all performances of this production, this is a fantastic opportunity to see critically acclaimed singers Amanda Echalaz and Sean Ruane perform in an opera of love, passion, hatred and deadly jealousy.

"A stroke of genius. In this thrilling and astonishing production, director Stephen Barlow has updated the story to 1968. With her creamy tone and ringing top notes, Amanda Echalaz proves herself a world-class Tosca. Seán Ruane is a hauntingly passionate Cavaradossi and Nicholas Garrett mixes sexiness, menace and glorious phrasing as Scarpia. All three happen to be superb actors and conductor Phillip Thomas provides a lush, taut accompaniment"
Warwick Thompson, Metro

There are still a small number of tickets available for this gala at the special rate of £45 - £65 per ticket, to include:

  • Glass of Prosecco on arrival
  • Interval reception
  • Souvenir programme for the evening

The Venice in Peril Fund was created after the great flood of 1966. Since then the Fund has disbursed millions of pounds for the restoration of Venetian monuments, buildings and works of art. To take advantage of this ticket offer and support this worthwhile charity contact the Venice in Peril office on 020 7736 6891, email info@veniceinperil.org or visit www.veniceinperil.org. Tickets can be booked through the office by credit or debit card.
