The Department of Building Control is responsible for ensuring high standards in construction work, protecting the health and safety of people in or about buildings and making sure that the requirements of people with disabilities are met.
The department controls building work on all types of buildings in accordance with the Building Regulations.
We are on call 24 hours a day, 365 days a year to respond to reports of dangerous buildings and structures.
