Strategic Flood Risk Assessment
As recommended by Planning Policy Statement 25: Development and
Flood Risk, the Council employed Consultants to undertake a
Strategic Flood Risk Assessment (SFRA), which it did so in
partnership with the neighbouring London Borough of Hammersmith and
Fulham and the Environment Agency.
Strategic Flood Risk Assessments refine information on the areas
that might flood, taking into account in London, the Thames, other
sources of flooding and climate change.
The report informs the Council's policies for the Core
Strategy.
