A Royal Opening of Care Home28 November 2008 The Miranda Barry Centre, an innovative day service for people with dementia provided by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, was officially opened by Her Royal Highness, the Countess of Wessex on Tuesday 18 November 2008. This invaluable service is open 365 days a year, providing a wide range of activities and support for up to 30 people a day, to enable people with dementia to continue to live in their own homes.
