Quick march
10 July 2009
Residents and visitors to the Royal Borough are invited to come to Kensington High Street on Saturday 18 July to see an army parade.
Come and join the Mayor, Councillor Timothy Coleridge, and other members of the Council as 31st Signal Regiment (Volunteers), together with the band of the Royal Logistic Corps parade along Kensington High Street
The parade begins at Holland Park at 11am and should take about 15 minutes to pass along the High Street to St. Mary Abbots Church. It is a celebration of the centenary of the Presentation of Colours by King Edward VII. We'd like people to line the route and give the regiment a cheer as it passes.
The 31st Signal Regiment is one of seven Units which has been awarded Freedom of the Royal Borough and are therefore entitled to march in the borough.
