Help give children a voice

22 June 2012

`Give Children a Voice' provides funds that can be used by community groups and voluntary organisations who work with children in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. The grant can be used to set up a `children's forum' to help make sure that the views of children and young people are heard on a range of issues.

The grants, which are funded by the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, follow the success of its own Children's Forum, and will include travel costs, the purchase of small items of equipment, refreshment costs, publicity and printing costs and training to set up a forum.

A proportion of the grant can be used to pay for staff that help deliver the project.

The forum must be for children aged eight to 13 who live, study, attend a project or centre in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.

Applicants can apply for up to £1,000.
