Education Psychology Consultation Service
The Education Psychology Consultation Service provides a consultation service for children and young people between the age of 0-19 within the community, their parents, the schools and the Local Authority.
Our aim is to:
- provide a consultation service utilising educational psychology to support schools, families, other professionals and services and the Local Authority so as to maximise the development, participation, learning and achievement of all children and young people between the ages of 0-19
- promote inclusive values and practices which respond positively to diversity, increase the participation of all children and young people, reflect an awareness of diverse cultures, values, attitudes, behaviours and beliefs and promote equality of opportunity in terms of race, disability, age and gender
- provide a high quality consultation service which seeks continuous self-improvement through ongoing self review, learning and continuous development
