Learning Resources Service

The Learning Resource Service, based at the Isaac Newton Centre, provides a comprehensive advice, design and production service to schools, the LEA and outside agencies.

A major part of the team's work is the design and production of printed materials, mainly using desktop publishing facilities. The team can work on a project from conception to completion.

Using commercial printers for long runs, the majority of the team's work is produced in-house through computer-linked full colour and black and white digital copiers as well as a poster size full colour inkjet printer.

Other facilities and services include a resource workshop with a variety of finishing equipment, including commercial laminators.

Schools are offered a Service Level Agreement with the Service. All other users are charged on a pay-as-you-go basis.
