What is cyber bullying?
Cyber bullying is
the name used when people use the Internet or other technology to
send nasty or upsetting messages to people.
Writing horrible things about someone in a text, making up
stories about someone on a website or posting pictures of them
without their permission are all types of cyber bullying.
Cyber bullying unfortunately happens to many young people
today. Sometimes people do not think about the consequences of
their actions and send something “as a joke”, when it is actually
very upsetting for the person who receives the content.
Cyber-bullying is bullying and it is not acceptable behaviour.
It’s important to know how to deal with it if it happens to
you.
