Youth Satisfaction Survey 2011 image

The Youth Satisfaction Survey is your opportunity to tell the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea Youth, Support and Development Service what you think of the services they provide. You can also tell us about the opportunities for awards and accreditations that are available to you, and how you would like to be involved in decision making.

You told us in 2010

In 2010 there were 754 responses, this year we hope to beat this and get at least 900 responses.

You said We did
You wanted more weekend activities in the borough One of this year’s priorities for the youth grants will be for activities that take place on weekends.
You didn’t feel involved enough in decision-making We are setting up a youth representative programme where young people will have the opportunity to represent their club, school, ward or project and talk to Councillors, service managers and other staff about what matters most to young people.
14.2 per cent of you had been bullied or witnessed bullying at your club We have tried to tackle bullying in a number of ways, including running an anti-bullying event at Earl’s Court Youth Club in March. We are also also in the process of writing an anti-bullying protocol for the Youth Service.
Almost half of you (47.1 per cent) said they wanted to see more girl groups in the borough This year, we will encourage more girls to apply for some youth grants funding to run projects and activities
