Leighton was acknowledged as one of the great draughtsmen of his age and the museum has an unrivalled collection of 700 drawings spanning his entire career. Daniel Robbins, Senior Curator at Leighton House, will present a selection of them with an opportunity for participants to study up close Leighton’s technical mastery in some of the most beautiful drawings of the nineteenth century.

A four week course with tutor Charlie Cobb from The Prince’s Drawing School. Suitable for all levels of experience.

Each week the class will explore a different question or theme. The tutor will work with participants on a one to one basis developing their individual approaches to drawing in consideration of scale, composition and material. Materials are provided, including easels and drawing boards.
