Sir Thomas Allen is an established star of the great opera houses of the world. At the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, where in 2006 he celebrated the thirty-fifth anniversary of his debut with the company, he has sung no less than fifty roles. In 2006, he also celebrated the twenty-fifth anniversary of his debut at the Metropolitan Opera, New York.

In this informal conversation with Neil Fisher, opera critic of The Times, Sir Thomas will recount h is long and glittering career in opera and on the concert platform. As one of the greatest British baritones of the last three decades, it is sure to be a fascinating and memorable afternoon. The audience will also have a chance to participate in a question and answer session.
