Trusts and foundations

We are eternally grateful to our donors who give through Trusts and Foundations, some for many years. Without their generous support, we would not be able to continue to develop Opera Holland Park Friends and thereby increase our support of Opera Holland Park.

Opera Holland Park produces opera in the beautiful surroundings of Holland Park in the summer months and is busy throughout the year with a wide-ranging programme of community and outreach projects. Many of these are of special interest to Trusts and Foundations; funded projects include:

• 1,200 free tickets for 9-18 year olds
• Educational workshops in primary and secondary schools
• Monthly recitals in care homes for the elderly and hospitals
• 500 free tickets for mature theatregoers
• Subsidised tickets for all at £10
• Lectures on the forthcoming season’s operas

Unrestricted donations are particularly valuable as these enable Opera Holland Park to:

• Keep ticket prices low and affordable for all
• Continue to attract singers of merit
• Nurture aspiring, young talent
• Support high quality opera produced on a low budget
• Stage lesser known works in addition to those that are more familiar

All donations, however large or small, are very much appreciated. Gifts are acknowledged in the Season programme magazine.
