Chickenshed Workshop Feedback

Read on to hear some feedback from a workshop Opera Holland Park did with Chickenshed Theatre earlier on this year...

 

Performing with Opera Holland Park was an amazing experience, but it wasn't just the performing experience it was also the workshop and the activities within it.
The amount of energy in the workshop really made me feel comfortable and it will be something I will never forget.

Really enjoyed the workshop, the idea of opera scared me a little but the workshop was fun and a good mixture. Dom really made it a fun space to be in, and made it okay to be silly. Listening to the singers was a beautiful experience and performing with them and learning about the pieces they sang was a wonderful opportunity.

Working with the Opera Holland Park company was a really great experience. Full of life, laughter and just a lot of fun. Not only was it innovative, but I felt as though it taught us a different side of performance. It was challenging but yet a really good experience. It showed us different sides and levels you can work at to really achieve and push  yourself, but to also be free, confident and open to a different workshop and games. My thought - be positive throughout the process and start opening yourself up to possibilities. Also what really worked was to be part of such a great event and to showcase what we could achieve in music and lyric writing in such a short space of time.
