Traffic Orders Search

Traffic Management Orders (TMOs) are legal documents drafted and made by the Council, usually under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. They regulate the use of highways for movement and parking.

We advertise our intentions so the emergency services, transport associations and the general public can make representations to us about the proposals. We advertise all proposed TMOs in a local newspaper and by putting notices on street. You can search for details of traffic orders currently under consultation and recently made below:

Proposal Type Consultation End Date Status

For permanent traffic orders there is a period of 21 days in which anybody can make an objection or representation against the proposals. If there are objections these will be considered and may result in the scheme being withdrawn or revised. If there are no objections, the Council will 'make' or confirm the order and implement the changes.

Experimental traffic orders are not advertised in advance but we invite representations during the first six months of the scheme in operation.

If you wish to make an objection during the consultation period, please write to Project Centre Ltd. Fourth Floor, Westgate House, Westgate, London, W5 1YY or email traffic.orders@projectcentre.co.uk

If you have any queries relating to traffic orders but are not formally objecting to proposals please email traffic@rbkc.gov.uk  or telephone 020 7361 2553.
