Food Allergen Control

We offer courses in food allergen awareness and control. A knowledge of allergens and their control is essential for all those responsible for the purchase, delivery, production and serving of food in the catering industry, and can help prevent allergic reactions to certain foods.

We offer taught qualification courses, and e-learning programmes which will give you a similar level of knowledge but not a formal qualification. Visit the E-learning pages.

Qualification certificates are not legally required, but they may help with your due diligence defence. Achieving a food allergen control qualification will help entry into employment, enhance promotion opportunities, and assist food business operators in proving that they have displayed diligence and are compliant with the law. 


Which level?

Level 2: an introduction for all employees. Not suitable for managers or supervisors.

Level 3: suitable for managers and supervisors, or designated allergen champions.
