This will provide a voice for the whole youth sector, build capacity, offer networking opportunities, promote sustainable funding streams and facilitate the sharing of spaces.
The creation of a YPF has been strongly supported by the voluntary and community sector and it is anticipated that match funding will be provided by John Lyons on an annual basis.
The contribution from the Council to support infrastructure costs (including salaries, networking and promotion) will be £75,000 per annum.
