Commemoration Service for Julian Gribble VC

On Friday 23 March 2018 the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea stopped for a poignant ceremony and took time to reflect on a local First World War hero, Julian Gribble VC.

Guests and passersby looked on as the Mayor of Kensington and Chelsea unveiled a special paving stone to commemorate Julian Gribble’s bravery in the Kaiser's Battle, on 23 March 1918, for which he received a Victoria Cross.
