Children's centres - your views on the

children's centre strategy proposal

As part of the development of a children's centre strategy for Kensington and Chelsea the Council is keen to hear the views of key stakeholders, including parents/carers, residents, staff and local community and voluntary organisations. Details of the proposed strategy can be found in the leaflet 'A new way of delivering children's centre services'. Further information, including frequently asked questions, is available on the Council's website via the following link www.rbkc.gov.uk/ccstrategy

We would be grateful if you could spare a few minutes to complete this survey. The survey is also available in paper format via the borough's children's centres. The closing date for responses is Wednesday 19 September 2012.

The Council will no longer be able to subsidise every childcare place. We intend to continue to provide a free place for those children in need and offer support to low income working families.  But the Royal Borough cannot continue to provide subsidised places to those who can afford to pay the going rate.
