Survey of Redcliffe Ward

As part of the 'City Living, Local Life' initiative your local Ward Councillors have a small amount of money to spend on projects within the Redcliffe Ward. Although Councillors already have some ideas for projects, they want to hear the views of as many residents as possible.

To what extent do you think the following would improve local life?

Q3	Outreach work with isolated older people Examples of this work could include schemes to link volunteers with older people who need friendship and support, coffee mornings and other activities, pairing younger and older people to learn from each other.

Q4	Encouraging support to the K&C Foundation The K&C Foundation is a special local charity that seeks donations from Royal Borough residents and gives out grants only to local groups who work primarily with disadvantaged local residents. This work could include fundraising events or volunteering evenings to match interested people with local groups seeking volunteers.

Q5	Supporting Earl's Court Youth Club Earl's Court Youth Club works with young people between 9 and 19 years old and up to the age of 25 for those with a disability. Their aim is to provide a safe and welcoming environment for young people of all abilities and backgrounds to come and enjoy a wide selection of activities aimed at promoting personal, social and educational development.

Q6	Improving the garden in Redcliffe Square Redcliffe Square is a much valued public open space. The Council is planning to refurbish the play areas and renew worn grass. In addition Councillors could choose to use some of their City Living, Local Life budget to enhance these works.

Q8	Improving Brompton Cemetery Although the Cemetery is managed by Royal Parks, not the Council, your Ward Councillors could discuss ideas for improvement with Royal Parks and the Friends of Brompton Cemetery, who do excellent work to promote and care for the Cemetery.
