Services Enabling services are provided for up to six weeks following illness or hospital treatment.(See notes for further details)

Fees The enabling service is free. However there may be charges if you receive other services from us, for example home care.
Clientele Adults who live in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea, have recently had hospital treatment and need help to regain confidence and independence at home and in the community.
Eligibility Clients must be assessed as needing support, usually by a social worker or care manager. To find out what help you can get please contact Social Services Line on 020 7361 3013.
Special Access Facilities Social care workers visit clients in their own home.
Notes Social care workers work with people to improve their skills and confidence with everyday tasks including personal care, preparing meals, going out and running errands, pursuing interests and hobbies and housekeeping. The actual help given, and length of service, depends on individual needs.
