The Section is the first point of contact for anyone within or outside the organisation who wants to know how the Council's decision making systems work and which forum or Executive Member has the authority to take a particular decision (in accordance with the Council's Constitution).
The Team is based at Kensington Town Hall and is available on the phone and in person between at least 9.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m
Copies of reports are placed at least five clear working days in advance of the decision to which they relate at the Local Studies desk in the Council's main library - Phillimore Walk, W8. Copies are also made available at other Borough libraries and on the Council's website.
In addition, the Section can provide you with information on Councillors' contact details, membership of committees etc., scheduled Executive and committee meeting dates and many other background or reference documents that you may need.
