Eligibility |
To receive home care services clients must have been assessed as needing our help to live independently at home, usually by a social worker or care manager. |
Special Access Facilities |
Access to our offices is via a short flight of steps from the street. However it is very unusual for clients to need to visit our offices as managers and care workers usually visit people in their own homes. |
Notes |
Each area office employs community care workers and managers and administration staff to provide such services as personal, nutritional, practical, financial, environmental and social care.
People who use Home Care services include older people, people with sensory loss, people with memory loss, people with disabilities,
The help given depends on individual needs, but social care workers can help with washing, dressing, bathing, preparing meals, shopping and housework. The enabling service also works with people for up to six weeks after hospital treatment to help them regain their confidence and independence at home and in the community. |
