Thrice More Splendour Than The Sun

“And let me have her likened to the sun, Say she hath thrice more splendor than the sun,” Shakespeare - Edward III, Act ll Scene ii 2 in an Edition of 6 Archival Acrylic Prints

'This work uses the modern medium of photography to layer the present day of Her Majesty the Queen with echoes of the Tudor past. Both Elizabeth I and Elizabeth ll came to the throne at 25. Her Majesty the Queen has reigned for 70 years; the Platinum Jubilee celebrating the longest reign in British history, a symbol of stability. Elizabeth I reigned for 45 years, bringing peace and prosperity, and died at 70.'
