The Committee is made up of:
- representatives from each of the recognised tenants’ or residents’ associations in the borough
- Councillors
- Kensington and Chelsea Tenant Management Organisation (KCTMO) representatives
- Council staff
It meets to:
- consider strategic housing documents
- consider strategic housing policy matters
- discuss annual draft budgets (including rent levels)
- discuss major work programmes
- consider any policy matters raised by individual tenants’ associations.

Date of next meeting
The TCC will not be held in 2017. Members will be attending alternative forums to discuss strategic issues with residents.
The original aim of the TCC was to consult on the annual rent setting. However, since the Government’s decision to reduce rents by one percent per annum for four years, the consultation process is no longer required as there is no decision for the Council to make.
There are alternative forums available that provide platforms for a more targeted discussion on different issues. These include the KCTMO Residents' Conference, Area Review Boards, specific regeneration consultation events and the Homeownership Panel.

The Council will continue to consult with tenants and leaseholders on key decisions and these will be subject to the Council’s governance arrangements. These decisions are published on the Council’s website.
