Targeted Prevention Team (TPT) ASK Workshops

Targeted Prevention Team (TPT) and ASK have joined forces again to run workshops about Apprenticeships, Traineeships and Recognising your skills.  Do you have any young people, living in RBKC, who are NEET / or at risk of NEET aged 16 – 19 (up-to 25 with SEND and an active EHCP) interested in coming along to any of the sessions and learning more about apprenticeships and traineeship, how to apply to an apprenticeship or traineeship and skills fit for training and employment!  Or parents/ carers who would like to know more about traineeships and apprenticeships?

If so, please contact Zeena on [email protected] with the young person’s name, DOB, date and time of session they would like to attend, contact email and number.  Or Parents/ carers name and contact information (i.e email and number). 

The sessions will be run virtually, with virtual access information shared a day before each session.

March:

Introduction to Apprenticeships: Monday 8^th : 11am - 12pm or 1pm - 2pm.

Application of Apprenticeships: Thursday 11^th: 11am – 12pm or 1pm – 2pm

Business Enterprise – Virtual Workshop:  Tuesday 16^th March 2021 11am – 12pm

Introduction to starting your own Creative Business  

and

Health and wellbeing, coping during Covid and preparing for education, employment and training: Tuesday 23^rd  March 2021 11am – 12pm

April:

Introduction to Traineeship: Monday 26^th: 11am – 12pm or 1pm – 2pm.*

Recognising your skills: Tuesday 27^th: 11am – 12pm or 1pm - 2pm

*pre-recorded session will be run at a different date and time and for any young person and parents/ carers not able to attend.

**update: there will be special guest presenters on 8^th Feb and 12^th Feb^.
