Calling all builders of the future, nature needs your help! Use your imagination, creativity and LEGO® bricks to build your own solution to one of the biggest challenges facing nature in this building challenge workshop.


Family Nature Talk

Join our short, family-friendly talks and learn surprising facts about the natural world through stories, specimens and science.   


Meet the Scientist

From birds and butterflies to evolution and climate change, explore the natural world with our scientists. Come along to hear about our cutting-edge research and to see incredible specimens from the collections we care for. 


Jurassic Encounters

Join us for an interactive animal show where you’ll have the chance to get up close to amazing animals whose ancestors roamed Earth with the dinosaurs. Meet incredible creatures, including snakes, lizards and tarantulas, and learn more about them in this 45-minute, ethical animal experience.


Family Activities with our Learning Volunteers

Come and explore our newly opened gardens and say hello to Fern our bronze Diplodocus. Then join our wonderful learning volunteers who have a whole bunch of fun, hands-on, nature-themed activities for you to get involved in.


T. rex Show with Teach Rex

Using lifelike dinosaurs, Teach Rex performs their show about Tyrannosaurus rex, one of the most amazing creatures to have ever roamed the planet.
