Who is this service available to?

We work with disabled children and their families from birth up to the age of 18.

How do you access this service?

For families who want more support, a package level is determined following an assessment by a key worker or social worker (in this context referred to as the assessor). Assessments usually take place once a year. If a family do not want an assessment they can access core offer without an assessment. The assessment is made on the basis of two components: the child’s needs and the additional care they need as a result of their disability and the impact of the child’s disability on the social, sibling and parenting circumstances. These needs are identified through the assessment and panel form.
