The Children’s Education Advisory Service (CEAS) within the Ministry of Defence provides advice and guidance to parents working in one of the three MOD Services (Royal Navy, British Army and Royal Air Force), on educational issues relating to Service children, including issues relating to special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). It is also able to give advice to educational establishments and local authorities responsible for a Service child.
The CEAS team is comprised of qualified teachers and experienced case advisors who can answer queries predominantly via email and telephone.
All advice given is impartial, child-centred and focuses on the best interests of the individual.
