I am an Ofsted registered childminder with a paediatric first aid and a member of the Professional Association for childcare and Early Years (PACEY). I live in a warm and safe environment in Holland Park with my husband and three grown up children. My home is friendly and each child will be respected and treated as an individual.
I have worked in a nursery for six years with special need children. I have successfully completed many workshop training courses in childcare, including practitioners as play partners, child protection, speech and language and have certificates in QCF2 (NVQ2).
My main focus is to deliver a learning experience through play and activities that will allow your child to explore and develop as an individual. This is achieved by working within the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework for every individual child’s need, every child will learn and develop through a variety of available learning and teaching resources this will include a vast range of educational toys and books.
A typical day will include outings to local places of interest such as play centres, parks, libraries and museums singing nursery rhymes, learning the alphabet and numbers, arts and crafts, reading stories, shapes, colours and many more. I work closely with parents and provide daily feedbacks, including planned outings. Each child will have their own journal of achievements and development profile.
Snacks are provided every day for free, lunch is at a cost of £3 pay day. There is 10% discount for siblings.
