About the event

Meet Henry VIII, arguably the most famous Tudor king, who acquired Chelsea Manor in 1536. Speak with two Victorian women who were pioneers in the world of medicine.
Find out about the impact of the Blitz during the Second World War, especially on the Royal Hospital, through London’s ARP Wardens and Fire Service, who helped save Chelsea and the wider London area.
Uncover the story of the King’s Road as the go-to place during the Swinging Sixties, along with an original 1960s police car on display.
History Street will host a variety of talented re-enactment groups including Britannia, Herigeas Hundas, Tastes Through Time, English Civil War Society, Zoom Through Time and Old Time Design.
