Full of Life’s Family Support Service is an independent advice and support service for parent carers of disabled children. The Family Support Service offers practical support with the following:
- Benefits, such as Disability Living Allowance and Carer's Allowance
- Education, Health and Care Plan support
- Issues relating to Health and Social Services (Needs and Carer's Assessments)
- General information and advice relating to housing
- Preparation for meetings
- Support with complaints
- Form filling (benefits, grants, applications)
For continuity of support, this service will automatically refer families to Full of Life’s Information Advice & Support Service and Carer's Advocacy Service when required.
