Home-Start (Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster)
Actions
We support many families who are experiencing difficulties, including isolation, depression, relationship breakdown, and parents or children with disabilities and special needs.
Volunteer befrienders offer personalised, non-judgemental support to families, helping them to link in with or access local services, as well as providing a listening ear, reassurance, support with children.
Support is tailored to each family’s individual needs and circumstances and aims to empower and enable families to cope with the difficulties they face.
