Inclusive Learning

The Inclusive Learning Department at Ealing, Hammersmith & West London College (EHWLC) has developed a curriculum that recognises and responds to the diverse needs of the communities that we serve. We work closely with a number of national and local stakeholders to ensure that our provision is current and appropriate to ensure that every individual achieves their full potential.

The staff team at EHWLC have considerable experience and an enthusiasm to support positive outcomes for all students. Within Inclusive Learning we participate in regular staff development and training to ensure that our strategies are informed by best practice in the sector. We collaborate with leading organisations that support specific learning difficulties and disabilities; these include Ambitious about Autism, Scope, Remploy, Action on Disability and Mencap.

We believe that every individual should be supported to achieve realistic aspirations and that their learning will be robustly planned, monitored and recorded to evidence learner centred outcomes. Our learning environments provide access to real life experiences that develop confidence, communication and independence; which will support individuals to positively progress as adults that are independent and in most cases can access the world of work.
