Tadpoles Nursery, Kensington, opened in September 2022 adopting the same ethos as it's 'mother school' that has been situated in it's current site in Chelsea since the early 90's.
At the hear of the school are the children and families who attend. It is vital to us that every child is seen as an individual and that every child in our care, thrives in a happy and playful environment.
Outdoor play and ecology play a huge part of how we deliver our curriculum and we are lucky to be situated, not only inside the, wonderful gardens of St Mary Abbots but also to have both Holland Park and Kensington Gardens on our doorstep for extending our learning and for our weekly Forest School days.
We build on the children's natural interests in the world around them, encouraging their curiosity and inquisitive minds. The best way for children to to learn about their natural environment and how to care for and respect it, is to get their hands muddy and really immerse themselves in it. Discovering that all areas of the curriculum can be enhanced using the world around us and our surrounding, natural environments.
