The Apple Tree House Montessori

The Apple Tree House is a private home-from-home childminding service. 

About me:

I am a professional, kind and caring Childminder. I have over 15 years experience working with babies, toddlers, children & their families. I come from an early years teaching background. I was a nursery teacher for the past 10 years. I have trained in Montessori & early years settings.

I am currently a registered Childminder through Ofsted. I offer full day sessions of childcare for children under the age of seven. I am a mother and have a 17 year old daughter who lives with me. I have a lovely home and a beautiful garden where children play and explore.

My philosophy is that children are independent learners and are provided with a loving, nurturing and a safe learning environment. Every child is unique and I can encourage your child’s development and milestones to reach their next steps for their learning & development.

My childcare setting:

I studied the Montessori philosophy and I have taught in Montessori nurseries in the past. I have also undertaken training in read write inc phonics and I have taught phonics in the nursery school. I have a wealth of knowledge especially been an early years teacher working with a range of children in the classroom this makes me a confident Childminder who is interested in child development and generally enjoys working with babies, toddlers & children.

I posses excellent communication skills. I was born & raised in London in Notting Hill Gate my background is moroccan. I work from my home setting in Notting Hill and have a beautiful garden where children get to explore and play.

I have a BA undergraduate degree in Early childhood education.

I also hold a DBS & a paediatric first aid certificate. In addition, I have safeguarding training keeping children safe in education and a food hygiene certificate. I am very active and the children love me for that. I enjoy taking children to the park, soft play, monkey music, museums, stay & play activities & visits to the local library, fire stations, dentist, doctors surgery (children get to learn about different professions and all about people who help us).
I also give parents feedback about their children's day. I am a professional, kind and committed person & I look forward to working with you.

Our daily routine:

I provide a healthy snack & a cooked meal. Children go to the library for story/rhyme sessions we go to the park. We play indoors and outdoors. We also visit the museum & farm.
