The St Quintin Centre is a state of the art centre offering activities and support for disabled children, young people and their families.
We are open seven days a week, and offer term-time support from birth to five years old, and afterschool, Saturday and holiday club support for 5 - 18 year-olds.

When is this service available?
Services available for families with children aged 5 to 18 years old. A child with a disability under the age of 18 who is substantially affected in their everyday living by one or more of the following:
global developmental delay
a learning disability a sensory impairment
a physical impairment
chronic ill health or medical problems
a serious life limiting or terminal illness
a severe communication or language disorder
an autistic spectrum disorder and who is not able to access other services
How do you access this service?
This service is to offer families without a Care Package a variety of opportunities to access different services. It provides:
Signposting and supporting families to get the best possible care.
Access to Family Fun day weekends and in the holidays. Activities for the whole family to do together.
Access to Stay & Play Monday- Friday from 10-12pm and Sunday from 11am-3pm.
Access to any afterschool activity. One activity per family per term. These are charged at £10 per term and booked in advance. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for 5yrs - 12yrs. Monday, Wednesday and Thursday for junior youth 12yrs - 17yrs. Various activities such as: swimming, cooking, dance, arts & craft, sensory storytelling, yoga etc.
Access to any Afterschool Youth activity. One activity per family per term. These are charged at £10 per term and booked in advance. These are for children over 12yrs 17yrs, activities such as Out & About in the community, Cooking, Dance, Art projects, travel training, integration into local youth facilities.
Access to Siblings Group. Free of charge to attend sessions. Trips out are always subsidized and price can vary. Child has to be over 7yrs of age.
Family Days Out in school holidays. These are charged at £15 for a family of 4, with each additional child after this charged at an extra £5 per child .
Access to Activity days/sessions in school holidays such as, yoga sessions, swimming, arts sessions. Charge of £2.50/£5 depending on the activity per session. These are for children over 5yrs. Times vary.
Access to Sunday Activity one Sunday a month - Charge of £2.50 per session. These are for children over 5yrs. Time: 10-3pm
Holiday Project opportunities for young people to go away on an independent holiday. £100 per child.
Support to access mainstream youth clubs, including travel training, work experience, community based activities.
Support to access Inclusion Mainstream Community Learning settings.
Access to join our Parents Committee run by our parents.
How do we ensure the quality of this service?
The centre is inspected by Ofsted under section 49 and 50 of the Childcare Act 2006.
The centre also engages with clients for feedback on the quality of the service delivered.
A parents committee is also involved with the development and feedback about the service.
The service also satisfies a set of robust quality checks.
What to do if you have a complaint?
All complaints should be directed to the Team Leader in charge on the day.
