Bassett House School was formerly a family home and retains a happy, welcoming atmosphere, starting at the front door where the headmistress or a senior staff member greets each child by name every morning.
Currently we have approximately 180 pupils and 39 teaching staff, allowing each child a great deal of individual attention.
Our school is a place where every child feels valued and gains the confidence to fly.

Additional information:
After school at 3:30pm, we have the option for children to participate in clubs or Wraparound care. If our pupils are participating in clubs, which typically run from 4pm, they will be provided with a snack between school and their club of choice and are escorted to and from their clubs.
Wrap-around care is a lovely opportunity for the pupils to wind down from a long day and participate in light activities or complete homework. We offer wrap-around until 5pm or 6pm in the afternoon, Mondays to Thursdays.
