Tadpoles Nursery School, Chelsea

Three and four year old funding

We have been here since 1993 - we have a highly qualified and long standing staff team - We offer some forest schools learning, a large ecology garden where children explore, plant and have fun and this includes a pond (fenced) a water room, where they can learn about the different properties of water and a mud kitchen. We believe in play as the key to learning while also including teacher led activities on a daily basis.

We have an onsite indoor heated swimming pool where the children can learn to swim, we teach yoga, music, dance and football as part of our curriculum and we play special attention through our ECAT (Every Child A Talker) programme to speech and language development.

We are a SILVER AWARD healthy school and hold workshops on nutrition and seek to promote physical play and risk taking in a safe environment. In addition, as a certified play therapist is on site we will try to help children who might be having some problems through the use of sand play, persona dolls etc..
