ABI Navigator Service caters to the needs of Brain Injury Survivors in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea. It aims to ease their transition from medical rehabilitation into the community through provision of person centred high quality support services such as access to life-roles facilitation volunteering opportunities training and work experience. Alongside it also caters to the needs of carers and family members by providing them access to support services.
Through ABI navigation we create a personalised life-roles plan with each ABI survivor helping them set short and long term life goals. It helps in establishing goals around; Social activities Volunteering Training On-going support Once ABI survivors have established goals we provide extensive support in achieving those goals through facilities like Vocational Rehabilitation Program and an Accredited Carers Course. The Accredited Carers Course is a recognised International Coaching Federation (ICF) course catering to the needs of carers who report depression anxiety stress and guilt as they struggle to support their loved ones.
