Funded childcare options if I am in receipt of additional forms of support, if I do not have recourse to public funds, or if my child has SEND
Actions
If you have a child aged 2 and are not working, or are on a low-income and in receipt of certain benefits such as Universal Credit, Child Tax Credit, or Working Tax Credit, your child may be eligible for '15 hours Early Learning' per week during term-time. In Kensington and Chelsea this is also known as the 'Busy2s' entitlement.
Among other eligibility criteria are having an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP), or being in receipt of Disability Living Allowance (DLA).
In addition, if you have not recourse to public funds (NRPF), you may also qualify for this if you meet certain criteria.
Also, did you know that every child aged 3 and 4 in England can access 15 hours government-funded childcare per week regardless of circumstances?
If you are on training or in full-time education, you may also be eligible for some financial support.
