Victoria and Albert Museum
Be part of the V&A’s history by being one of the handful of couples to get married in our beautiful galleries.
The V&A is testament to one of the most successful and enduring marriages in British history, the marriage between Queen Victoria and Prince Albert.
The Museum stands as an incredible monument of dedication and love, not only between Victoria and Albert, but of their shared passion to bring art and design to all. For the first time in the Museum history we are delighted to offer four amazing spaces within our galleries when you can now get married and host your Civil Marriage or Partnership ceremony.
The dedicated Corporate & Private Events team will talk you through how the evening will flow and explain all the options in which to make your special day personal to each couple. By hosting your wedding celebration at the V&A you are directly supporting the Museum’s fantastic research, our blockbuster exhibition programme, and help us to keep admission free to all. We limit the number of weddings per year so that hosting your wedding celebration at the Victoria and Albert Museum is a truly unique and intimate.

In order to be married or enter into your civil partnership at one of our approved venues, you must first make a booking with the venue of your choice and then contact us at Kensington and Chelsea Register Office to ensure that you book registrars to attend your ceremony. This means in addition to the fees charged by the venue for your ceremony, you will also need to pay the fees for registrars to attend. Once you have confirmed availability with your approved venue and you have booked and accepted their fee, you can then book the registrars. Our fees are below:
