VELUX has issued a product safety recall of roof windows it produced and sold between 1997 and 2003. There is a risk of spontaneous glass breakage with some of these roof windows.
If you have a VELUX roof window, please check to see if it is one of those affected.
Home owners and Council leaseholders should contact VELUX directly if they believe their window is affected on 0345 111 4414.
Council tenants should call the Housing Customer Service Centre on 0800 137 111 if you think your window could be affected. The repairs team will liaise with VELUX on your behalf to arrange a replacement at a time convenient for you.
If you rent from anyone other than the Council and you believe your VELUX window may be affected contact your landlord.
