Kensington and Chelsea is celebrating its older residents at this year’s Silver Sunday – a packed programme of events for the over-65s taking place from 6-11 October.

A total of 29 organisations and community groups – including Kensington and Chelsea Council – are hosting almost 50 sessions offering you the chance to meet new people, try your hand at arts and crafts, take part in some exercise or learn a skill.

Among this year’s highlights are an open day at Leighton House Museum, a culture and diversity day featuring global food and music at Binbrook House and a Dementia-friendly concert by professional musicians Stonehaven at St Paul’s Knightsbridge.

For residents not able to go out due to physical limitations or ill health, a phone club will enable you to join in from the comfort of your own home.
