National Grid London gas mains replacement - King’s Road phase

National Grid is planning essential work in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham. The work is scheduled to start in February 2016 and forms part of a five-year project that extends into the City of Westminster and London Borough of Wandsworth.

Due to the scale of the project National Grid need to make the King’s Road a one-way road eastbound to ensure the safety of both road users and people working on the scheme.

This will be in two phases:

  • February to April 2016 between Gunter Grove and Edith Grove
  • May to September 2016 between Stanley Bridge (railway bridge to the west of Lots Road) and Gunter Grove
